This product is one of the most important items I use in the making of espresso. Once you use one, and replace the cheap, plastic version that comes with your espresso machine, you will know you made the right choice. A little pricey, but it is well worth it.
Quality and workmanship are second to none. This tamp works perfectly with my Gaggia Classic. Talk about feel-good quality. This 1-piece tamp makes Reg Barbers look feeble in comparison for 1/2 the price.
I can not imagine a better tamper. Heavy, solid, all one piece so you don't have to mess with the handle coming loose. I wanted to buy only ONE tamper in my life and it looks like this is it.
It is the perfect fit for the KitchenAid Proline espresso maker KTA-KPES100PM. This tamper is solid stainless (no screw-together pieces). It came in perfect condition, well-packed and on-time. It is damn hard to find the exact stated size of the little bucket thing the coffee goes in. This thing is wayyyy better than the lame plastic tamp that comes in the box - improved the consistency of the pour, or draw, or however espresso fanatics refer to getting the coffee out.
Great tamper, delivered promptly wrapped in plastic bubble sheet in a box within a box. I'm very satisfied with the tamper and the delivery.
